Myles Xie
About me
My name is Myles Xie. People also call me MRK as a nickname.
I am an engineer and operator.
I graduated with a Master of Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Management from Queen's University.
As you can probably tell from the nature of the dual degree, I love both engineering and business, and I believe the beauty lies in combining them.
My story
Robotics and engineering helped me first discover a world filled with possibilities.
I studied robotics for more than ten years and building everything from the simplest LEGO, VEX structures to complex FRC, RoboMaster robots and then to realistic applied engines, machines. I found engineering to be beautiful and it has become my passion undeniably; the patience, co-operation, and focused dedication required to succeed in it positively shaped my personality.
I can always oversee every stage of the project. I love to lead the gradual construction of the robots and its shinny metal luster.
Wherever I go, determinations are the same: I hope to let all my biggest dreams of using engineering to make the world a better place the chance to unleash.
